Right now, Taste of Nature currently offers thirteen different flavors of organic bars, including: Argentina Peanut Plains, Brazilian Nut Fiesta, California Almond Valley, Niagara Apple Country, Nova Scotia Blueberry Fields, Quebec Cranberry Carnival, Canadian Maple Forest, Caribbean Ginger Island, Himalayan Goji Summit, Mediterranean Pistachio Passion, Persian Pomegranate Garden, Polynesian Coconut Breeze, and Louisiana Pecan Parade. Taste of Nature was kind enough to send me six
different flavors in exchange for my thoughts!
Canadian Maple Forest
Canadian Maple Forest contains, per bar, 190 calories, 12g of fat, 0mg of cholesterol, 35mg of sodium, 19g of carbs, and 3g of protein. It contains the following ingredients:
Pecans*, apricots*, Brazil nuts*, agave nectar*, brown rice syrup*, raisins*, whole grain brown rice crisps*, maple syrup*, sunflower oil blend* (sunflower oil*, mixed tocopherols, rosemary extract*), maple flavour*, vanilla flavour*, sea salt, agar
This bar is amazing! When you open the package, you are met with a rich, maple smell…like someone just created homemade pancakes and poured maple syrup all over them. The sweetness of the maple is balanced by a smooth blend of the Brazil nuts and pecans. You can just taste a hint of sugary apricot. This bar could make anyone love nuts. I think it is a great substitute for breakfast.
Persian Pomegranate Garden
Persian Pomegranate Garden contains, per bar, 160 calories, 8g of fat, 0mg of cholesterol, 0mg of sodium, 21g of carbs, and 3g of protein. It contains the following ingredients:
Cashews*, walnuts*, agave nectar*, figs*, cranberries* (cranberries*, apple juice concentrate*, sunflower oil*), apples*, pomegranate juice concentrate*, brown rice syrup *, whole grain brown rice crisps*, raspberries*, sunflower oil blend* (sunflower oil*, mixed tocopherols, rosemary extract*), agar
This bar definitely has an “exotic”, other-worldly taste. Is is softer and a little chewier than some of the others. It is hard to put the flavor into words, other than the fact that it is a sweet treat that tastes almost “tropical”. When I look at the ingredients of Taste of Nature’s bars, I am always surprised. I wouldn’t peg myself as a walnut or a fig fan, but when all of these flavors are mixed together, it creates a wonderful concoction.
Brazilian Nut Fiesta
Brazilian Nut Fiesta contains, per bar, 190 calories, 12g of fat, 0mg of cholesterol, 5mg of sodium, 17g of carbs, and 2g of fiber. It contains the following ingredients:
Raisins*, peanuts*, agave nectar*, sunflower seeds*, almonds*, Brazil nuts*, brown rice syrup*, walnuts*, whole grain brown rice crisps*, pumpkin seeds*, sunflower oil blend* (sunflower oil*, mixed tocopherols, rosemary extract*), agar
This bar is not as sweet as the other Taste of Nature bars, and reminds me more of a basic trail mix. It still has a ton of flavor, but it is a lot more “nutty” and “earthy”; this bar is great for anyone who does not have a sweet tooth and wants a good snack in between meals. My boyfriend said this was his favorite bar, just because it is so versatile — he doesn’t always crave sweets, but this bar fits into any meal plan!
California Almond Valley
California Almond Valley contains, per bar, 180 calories, 11g of fat, 0mg of cholesterol, 10mg of sodium, 18g of carbs, and 10mg of sodium. It contains the following ingredients:
Almonds*, raisins*, sesame seeds*, agave nectar*, sunflower seeds*, brown rice syrup*, pumpkin seeds*, whole grain brown rice crisps*, sunflower oil blend* (sunflower oil*, mixed tocopherols, rosemary extract*), agar
This bar has just a touch of sweetness from the raisins and agave nectar, but is chock-full of that earthy, nutty taste as well. I like how you can taste each of the different flavors of nuts in this bar! I would crumble these bars up to put on top of my Greek yogurt in the morning, just to give it that extra boost. I want to purchase more of these bars for when school starts, because I will need all the energy in the morning that I can get!
Quebec Cranberry Carnival
Quebec Cranberry Carnival contains, per bar, 180 calories, 11g of fat, 0mg of cholesterol, 10mg of sodium, 19g of carbs, and 5g of protein. It contains the following ingredients:
Peanuts*, raisins*, agave nectar*, sesame seeds*, almonds*, cranberries*(cranberries*, apple juice concentrate*, sunflower oil*), pumpkin seeds*, brown rice syrup*, whole grain brown rice crisps*, sunflower oil blend* (sunflower oil*, mixed tocopherols, rosemary extract*), cranberry flavour*, agar
This was my favorite Taste of Nature bar that I tried, even though I am not a huge fan of sesame seeds! It had all the right flavors, and the cranberries were scrumptious. I felt like I was getting to cheat on my diet because of the sweet taste, but without having to feel guilty about it. This was the perfect snack for a busy day!
Himalayan Goji Summit
Himalayan Goji Summit contains, per bar, 180 calories, 11g of fat, 0mg of cholesterol, 5mg of sodium, 17g of carbs, and 5g of protein. It contains the following ingredients:
Peanuts*, raisins*, sunflower seeds*, almonds*, agave nectar*, goji berries*, brown rice syrup*, raspberries*, sunflower oil blend* (sunflower oil*, mixed tocopherols, rosemary extract*), agar

As you can see, this bar didn’t even last long enough to be photographed! My unknowing boyfriend grabbed it out of the box because he couldn’t wait to ask me if it was a “review item”. He took it to work as lunch, and he loved it. He said it gave him a natural energy boost, and he really liked the flavor of all the seeds and fruits blended together. He had never eaten a goji berry before. He is interested in grabbing some more of these bars next time we visit the store!
All-in-all, I was very impressed with Taste of Nature’s organic bars. I love the all-natural ingredients and the lack of artificial sweeteners. You won’t miss the artificial ingredients at all! The unique flavor combinations and natural sweet taste of the agave nectar and brown rice syrup are so much better than granola bars from other leading brands. You can tell that Taste of Nature really cares to make a quality product. I couldn’t believe how many whole chunks of nuts that these bars had, compared to other brands, who tend to skimp out. Each bar packed its own punch, and there really wasn’t one that I disliked at all. These bars are great any time of the day, and keep you sufficiently full. I love that I have finally found a healthy granola bar option that I actually love! I definitely recommend these bars to anyone.
