I recently reviewed a Bosley hair product and KMS Shampoo and Conditioner which were distributed by Beauty Care Choices. I received another wonderful item from this company! If you need a recap about them, here it is:
Beauty Care Choices is a company that was started in 2004, and is based out of Shasta, California. This company is an online distributor and authorized retailer of professional salon products, which offers consultations with licensed cosmetologists via phone and email. Beauty Care Choices purchases their products directly from the manufacturer, and most of these professional brands are not found in drugstores.
Beauty Care Choices offers a variety of products, including: hair care (shampoo, conditioner, styling products, color, accessories, dry shampoo, etc), skin care (body, hands, feet, face, eyes), cosmetics (face, eyes, lips, body, makeup removing, tools and brushes), nails (polish, remover, treatments, tools, etc), unique gifts, and travel-sized items. They have fast delivery and hassle-free returns, as well as free shipping on orders over $49.
This time, Beauty Care Choices sent me a Tamer Foam by ISO for the purpose of this review. ISO is well-known professional hair-care brand that is exclusive to salons. They sell a range of high-quality products for almost every hair type and condition. The ISO Tamer Foam was created for frizzy or unruly hair, or any hair types that are naturally curly or textured. This uniquely formulated foam gel can smooth your hair and give it a longer-lasting sleek and straight quality. It can bring unruly hair under control by smoothing out unwanted frizz and “flyaways” and making it easier to comb your hair out.
Tamer Foam by ISO is easy to use; all you have to do is squeeze out the foam gel into your palm, and then work it into clean and damp hair. Once you have saturated your hair, comb it out, and then for best results, ISO suggests that you blow-dry with a round brush.
Tamer Foam by ISO contains the following ingredients:
Water, Isobutane, Isopentane, Guar Hydroxypropyltrimonium Chloride, Citric Acid, Tocopheryl Acetate, Retinyl Palmitate, Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein, Hydrolyzed Wheat Starch, Hydrolyzed Soy Protein, Cysteamine HCL, Glycerin, Panthenol, Hydroxylpropyl Guar, Amodimethicone, C11-15 Pareth-7, Laureth-9, Trideceth-12, Propylene Gycol, Diazolidinyl Urea, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Benzophenone-4, Disodium EDTA, Wheat Germamidopropyldimonium, Hydroxypropyl Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein, Panthenyl Hydroxypropyl Steardimonium Chloride, Lauryl Glucoside, Benzyl Benzoate, Benzyl Salicylate, Limonene, Fragrance.
What are some of the benefits of the specific ingredients in ISO Tamer Foam?
- The wheat protein gets right to the cuticle of your hair and helps to strengthen it
- Humectants help control the moisture levels in your hair to dampen frizz
- Amino Silicone conditions and smoothes hair over time
- ISOamine and Guar Gum soften the bonds of your hair
- Panthenol is a form of Vitamin B that provides nourishment for your hair
Right now, you can purchase the Tamer Foam (6.7 oz size) by ISO, here
, on Beauty Care Choice’s website. It retails for just $10.99, which I think is a steal! You will NOT be disappointed with this product OR with Beauty Care Choices. Beauty Care Choices continues to amaze me with their super-fast shipping and excellent packaging.
I feel like Beauty Care Choices sells the best hair products! I am always happen with what they send me, and it is always a professional brand that I have never had the liberty of trying, ISO included. I had heard of this brand before because I had seen it in salons in the past. I was excited to try the Tamer Foam, because as I have stated in the past, I have some pretty wild and unruly hair, even if it may not look that way in pictures that I have posted (the magic of hair straighteners, obviously). If I let my hair air dry or if I go out in humidity, I get these coarse, frizzy waves which seem to be un-tameable, at times. I cycle through all sorts of hair products to help me calm the frizz and get a straighter and sleeker look. I love experimenting to find the best combination; some days I like to do treatments, and other days I like to put something in my hair for an “on the go” day.
The ISO Tamer Foam is great because a little goes a long way. I have used foam hair gels in the past that have left my hands and hair sticky and crunchy, but here, that wasn’t the case. Even with the palm-full you see above, my hair was nice and smooth. As you can see from the picture, the foam gel starts out white, but it is quickly absorbed after you rub it in with your palms — there is no excess residue at all, which I love. It has a nice, light scent..not that over-powering hairspray smell, but the type of smell that you only get in a hair salon! It leaves me feeling even more fresh and clean. My hair was damp in the picture and it was hard to show, but the ISO Tamer Foam immediately calmed my hair and it allowed me to comb out the mats and knots rather quickly. I felt like my hair was more nourished and easier to manage when it dried. To me, it looked more sleek and more straight, even though I still had to use my hair straightener. I love the unique formula and the long-lasting conditioning.. this is a product I will definitely keep using on a regular basis! I was so surprised and happy to find a foam gel that did NOT leave my hair with a nasty texture.
